Athletics
The PAC Difference:

Gymnastics
Gymnastics is what the PAC was founded on, almost 50 years ago, the PAC knows gymnastics! Tumbles, handstands, cartwheels and more!
All campers will be able to experience our state of the art competition size gymnastics facility, equipped with:

Gymnastics is excellent for nurturing your child's strength, balance, flexibility and agility. PAC gymnasts learn:
-
Beginners: the basics of form needed for Floor; forward rolls, splits, bridge safety, teeters and cartwheel hand and feet positioning. Bars; front support, mermaid kicks, forward rolls, pull-up drills. Vault; squat/straddle-on’s, heel drives and running acceleration. Balance beams; relevee walks, kicks, dips and pivot turns.

Intermediate/Advanced: Floor; handstand, handstand bridge, bridge kickover, backbend and roundoffs, back handsprings and front handsprings.. Bars; casts, pullover, back hip circle and sole circles. Vault; pike-on, handstands, round off -off the vault and handstand flatbacks. Balance beams; turns, jumps, leaps and teeters.

Dance
Dance at the PAC ensures dancers learn through creativity, discipline, and determination. Using positive reinforcement and a combined value of synchronized routine dancing and creative independent movement, KTB provides a fun yet productive dance experience. The studio offers all genres of dance, including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, and Contemporary. Ballet, the foundation for all styles of dance, is introduced at an early age. Age-appropriate techniques are taught in each class, starting with detailed Barre routines for children as young as three. These routines teach dance etiquette and ballet basics. As dancers progress, they are prepared physically for more extensive stretches, jumps, turns, and expressive routines.

Staying current with the themes and music of today, children are quickly able to relate and feel the excitement and inspiration to move to the music. With our qualified teachers whom some are still competing in dance, serve as role models for dancers to see the benefits of persevering dance as more than a hobby and more of a passion.

Tae Kwon Do
An excellent self-defense and fitness program, Taekwondo offers an interactive and fun curriculum that supplies not only a great punch but a kick as well! With the use of freestanding punching bags, striking and kicking pads and the sheer power of one’s own strength, this program is one to empower the beginning framework for self defense.
Technical Focuses:

Blocking: Outer/inner forearm block, low and high rising block

Kicking: Front kick, roundhouse kick, and sidekick.

Campers will learn the beginner techniques of this worldly popular sport that is most commonly known for its board breaking training. Breaking boards symbolizes the strength and resilience of students using different techniques with hand and foot that this exciting training motivates all abilities to persevere.

Ninja Athletic Warrior
The PAC ninja athletic warrior program has stayed ahead of the curve for the past 10 years by converting our space to a fully designated ninja hub! Home to a one of a kind “aerial rig” our equipment is stowed in the sky rig above offering ample space on the ground for safety landings on our full matted floors.
Being a ninja warrior means being in line with the PAC motto; having a Positive attitude, Adventurous mindset, and Consistent effort for these swinging, traversing, and equipment hopping obstacles!
The combination possibilities are endless for our vast array of ninja equipment on site. What makes being a ninja at the PAC so amazing is how our set-ups are both challenging and adaptable for all ages, heights and skills:

Swimming & Field Sports
Swimming
The PAC is taking your kids to the pool! With our own designated and experienced WSI specialist, your kids will engage in the activity of the summer, swimming! Our WSI specialist will accompany every group to the pool to ensure that our campers stay safe in our care on top of the facility lifeguards.
Fields Sports
This is where the PAC brings it back to the traditional sports of kickball, softball, and so much more on the grass. Utilizing our field space for playing, running, jumping, skipping, throwing, kicking, catching, hula hooping, jump roping and everything else in between. These along with group games, challenges, team building exercises, communication style games and camper versus counselor races that will get the whole camp up on their feet.
